Before getting into this we need to make sure you understand the basic wiring concept. This is know as Star Wiring. With star wiring all the cables in your home networking system will run back to a central location. You can think of this central location as the middle of the star and each room outlet is the point of the star. Also, you bring all the incoming services to the central point such as the incoming telephone line, the terrestrial TV antenna, The FM Antenna, the Sky dish or the cable TV. With all the cables coming back to one location, you can easily reconfgiure the system and cater for things later ion down the line that you may not have thought of at design and installation.
