Procurement Process

Unfortunately there is not one simple formula but we try and make the process as simple and as straightforward as we can.

At the outset, each prospective project will be assigned their own client liaison manager who will oversee and manage this early stage of the negotiation process. Having a senior member of staff with specific experience of a client's business sector is key to Telstar's customer service philosophy.

After an initial discussion to evaluate the scale and scope of the project, your liaison manager will arrange for a site visit to survey the site and review specifications. If the proposed development is a new build, these initial calculations can be taken from site plans with a site visit being made nearer the time of completion.

Following these discussions, Satsearch will submit a formal tender, detailing costs, timescales and a comprehensive list of materials and technical specifications including where necessary details of our Working at Height and Health and Safety policy.

Satsearch also offers its clients a bespoke design services across both its Security and Surveillance and Digital Television and Audio divisions, in the absence of a clear specification its design team can advise on the most appropriate systems and create a detailed schedule of works.

If appointed, Satsearch would then issue a formal contract and arrange for a start date.
